Embroidered Slug

This is Slyme. He's a one-of-a-kind creature, a slug that I hand embroidered and decorated. He's 4.5 inches long. He's made with wool felt, and I just cut him out of the felt without a pattern. There will never be another one exactly like him. I don't like using patterns most of the time, because I end up altering what I've cut out as I go along anyway.
I like his lazy eyes, the way he looks at the world. He has undulating side flaps that have tiny glass beads glued on. He's alert, but not concerned about what's going on around him. I love animals, and they're the inspiration for what I make. He's available on my etsy site.
The next creature that I make, I'll add more pictures of the process instead of just a final picture. :)
